near to this sanctuary is the reservoir of the Nagarjunasagar
Dam on the Krishna river. This is the country's largest
tiger reserves. This Srisailam santuary is spread over
an area of 3568sq. km. This sanctury's prominent fauna
are the tiger, leopard, sloth bear, hyena, jungle, cat,
palm civet, bonnet macaque and pangolin. |
