01 : Departure
Day 02 :Arrive Madras and
transfer to hotel Radha Park Inn ( 3 Star) or Savera (
4 Star)
Day
03 : Full day tour of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram.
The former was the main port of Pallava dynasty & has
exquisite rock-cut monuments, monolithic structures and
bas reliefs. It is also a beach resort. Kanchipuram ,
the golden city was one of the seven sacred cities of
India and once had 1000 temples. Now only 200 remains.
It is also famed for it's hand - woven cottons and kanjivaram
silk. Evening transfer to railway station for Trichy night
train.
Day 04 : Morning arrive Trichy & transfer to Hotel
(Fortune Park-3 Star). Afternoon tour of Trichy visiting
the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi 434 steps
cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines,
lead to the temple, yet another flight leads to the temple
of Lord Shiva. The ascend is climaxed by magnificient
view of the sacred Kaveri river. Visit Srirangam a massive
temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu which contains within
its walls a bazaar as well.
Day 05 : Morning drive to Madurai enroute visiting
the famous 9th century Chola Temple Brihodeswara at Tanjore.

Day 06 : Morning half day sightseeing tour visit
the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of
Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams (rising high above
the surrounding country side). Later, visit the Tirumala
Nayak Palace - a gracious building in the Indo Saracenic
style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches.
Afternoon free.
Day 07 : Morning drive to Periyar National Park
Hotel Aranya Niwas or Spice Village or Taj Garden Retreat.

08 : Morning drive to Cochin. Hotel Quality Inn Presidency
(4 star).
Day 09 :Morning half day
tour to visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese
fishing nets, St.Francis Church & the Santa Cruz Afternoon
free.
Day 10 : Morning transfer to airport for Bangalore
flight. Drive directly to Mysore. Hotel (Ramanashree -
3 star).
Day 11 : Morning full day excursion of Belur and
Halebid. The Chenna Kesava Temple of Belur built 900 years
ago is an exquisite example of Hoysala art. Halebid's
12th century Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temple are masterpieces
of hindu art.
Day 12 : Morning tour of Mysore. Afternoon free
Day 13 : Transfer to railway station for Madras
train. Arrive & transfer to Hotel (Ambassador-4 star/Radha
Park Inn-3 star).
Day 14 : Morning free. Check out at 12 hrs. Transfer
to airport for return flight.
